c.1940 Hassenfeld Bros., Minnie Mouse 20pc. Nurse Kit in Original Box
Sensational 20 piece Minnie Mouse Nurse Kit by Hassenfeld Bros. Contents are unused and in mint condition. Everything comes in the original box which was embossed to look like a gray alligator skin briefcase. Cover is hinged on one side. It has a triple hooked metal front latch (which locks) and separate metal handle. The cover illustration shows Mickey in his hospital bed with Minnie attending to him. Pluto and Mickey's nephew's are in the room as well. Around the perimeter of the drawing are little red crosses surrounded by red, yellow, and green designs. The same print was used on the inside cover. It's marked Walt Disney Productions. All 20 toys have never been used. In fact, they hadn't been removed from the box until I took the photo's you see below. One piece, "the woman patient in a hospital bed" was left inside the box so it's never been removed. The contents are separated into individual compartments with raised cardboard inserts. A flat die cut card, printed blue with the name of the item is laid on top of each insert.
